Colors for Spring

Hello My fellow FaceCandy Addicts,

I have a few wonderful goodies to chat about I had so much fun wearing them and trying different looks when I finish describing the pros and cons about these products I promise you are going to place them in your spring/summer makeup rotation or lineup that is how great these product are.

Can you believe that I am still spending gift cards for Sephora from the Christmas holiday, (for those who don't know I am a serious Sephora junkie), and lucky me my birthday is in January and this year I did not have shoes or clothes on my wish list.  This year cosmetics and skin care products!!!!

Okay so back to my reviews, today I will review the following products:
  • Sephora Collection --> Prisma Chrome Eyeshadow
  • Kat Von D -->  Art of Elysium Palette (Kimberly)
  • Mally Beauty --> Evercolor Shadow Stick

Sephora Collection --> Prisma Chrome Eyeshadow
Okay FCAddicts when I stepped in to Sephora I was immediately drawn to Sephora Collection - Prisma Chrome eyeshadow display, when you see the display you will gush over the how beautiful and bold the colors are.  They are very bright pigments but they look and feel very silky, smooth and creamy.  It is really soft to the touch.  Now the great thing about these colors are they can be worn from day to night, and they work really well with other products.  I added one of colors to my usual day shadow and it gave it just enough to make my eyes pop.  All throughout the day I totally forgot I had it on it was very comfortable, it did not irritate my eyes, and I never got the urge to want to rub them.

This prodcut is exactly what is says it is "long lasting," and when it was time to freshen up my makeup for the evening, I literally applied the prisma chrome shadow in one stroke to each eye, and the shadow became brighter.   It gave me that "get it girl" look that EVERY LADY wants, and I was ready to hang with my friends for the night. This collection can be purchsed at a Sephora store near you or goto www.Sephora.com, they are $15 each.

Kat Von D -->  Art of Elysium Palette (Kimberly)
I finally wore Kat Von D's "Art of Elysium" palette. It was a nice look, lets get right to it, and give the pros and cons about this product. The palette is sold at Sephora, available at a Sephora location near you, or www.amazon.com $18 - $20.
Pros:
This palette is great for creating a beautiful smokey eye, It applies very well, and it is long lasting.  It does not feel heavy, or like you have product on your eyes if that makes any since. It does not have a grainy feel and it does not crease. Love the compact and the beautful design on the front of it.
Cons:
Pigments in my opinion was not as strong I had to re-apply two to three times to get the shade I wanted.

the colors are: (top) believer, shakespehere
(bottom) rad purple, and dorian gray

Mally Beauty Evercolor Shadow Stick (Purple Rain)
I know shadow pencils have been out for a minute, and as my husband say "I am late to the party," lol. I have seen Mally Beauty on QVC before a few times while up late channel surfing through the cable television.  I said to myslef I have to try her line of cosmetics one day.
Of course that was about twos years ago, and got around to it.  It was not until a friend of mind told me about this shadow stick in purple (Luxe doll knows purple is my fav color) that was given to her in her goodie bag for christmas from a co-worker.
Okay so enough chatter back to the pros and cons, before I talk about the shadow sticks; if you would like to pick up a few of them for yourself or a friend, you can purchase at www.mallybeauty.com, www.amazon.com, and I also saw some on sale on www.ebay.com.  The price ranges from $14 - $25.
Pros:
So Mally really thought about the consumer when creating this product, it is user friendly, and once applied the way you want it will not come off.  It has to be removed with makeup remover. It glides on, does not crease and the pigments are beautiful.
Cons:
When applying the shadow stick moves and you have to turn to make sure you have enough to apply. It is hard to remove even with makeup remover.
